St.David's Day

St.David was born in 520in Ceredigion's Henfynwy, is a kind and genthle people, often to help the working masses. In the era of his life, Saxons invaded Wales. Saxon, when the resistance in orderto distinguish the enemy, so that the Welsh St David's follow each other in a hat or helmet as a marker inserted leeks, and finally unite to defeat the Saxons. 589 1 March, St David's death, to commemorate him, the Welsh in the 18th century this day as National Day.

That day women will wear daffodill and men will wear leek on the breast. Sometimes schoolgirls will wear traditional Welsh costumes to school. There are a long woollen skirt, white blouse, woollen shawl and a welsh hat. In St.David's day have many different  traditional foods,
